You don't need any qualifications to do this course.
This course is made up of 4 Modules. There is an e-book for each Module and demonstration videos to give you all the information you will need to complete each unit of your online theory (view sample question). Your tutor will be available via telephone between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday or email, to help with any questions you may have. You will be given access to all of the assessment and feedback information.
This course requires 6 case studies which are as follows:
Any 3 freehand designs
Ombre
Marble
1 glitter technique
These can be carried out on yourself, friends or relatives a practice hand, display tips or a combination of any of them. You will need to provide evidence of your work as follows:
VIDEO EVIDENCE - Please do a separate video for each of the above but only do one finger/display tip. This will make it quicker and easier for you to upload the videos. Please don't stress about video quality. If you can see what you're doing in the video I'm sure we will be able to.

Qualification: ABT Accredited Diploma
You will receive your Diploma Certificate, usually within 3 days of completion of your final recorded practical assignment provided all work (theory and practical) meets the required standard. You will then be fully qualified and insurable in gel design!
Please note: Modules 1, 2 and 3 are the same for all courses and only ever need to be done once.
ONLINE GEL DESIGN COURSE WITHOUT KIT
Our online gel design course will give you all the information you need to provide basic gel designs for your clients. You will learn how best to use your liner brushes and dotting tools and when to use gel paints or gel polishes.
The demonstration videos will show you the basic techniques for snowflakes, flowers, hearts, clouds and leopard print; how to apply glitter 3 different ways; how to ombre with gel polish using a sponge and how to marble with gel polish.
Everything you need, which is a combination of e-books, video tutorials and true or false questions, is provided in your online account; you will also be able to upload your case study videos from within your online account. This allows you to work from a PC, mobile or tablet wherever you happen to be.
All course materials will be made available to you in your online account after you have paid and registered.
