You will need a qualification in acrylic nails to do this course.
The acrylic design course is for all those wanting to take their existing acrylic skills to the next level and learn how to create beautiful acrylic designs.
You can use any brand of products you choose but we do recommend you use products designed for professional use rather than DIY home kits
This course is made up of 1 Module. There is an e-book for your Module and demonstration videos to give you all the information you will need to complete each unit of your online theory (view sample question). Your tutor will be available via telephone between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday or email, to help with any questions you may have. You will be given access to all of the assessment and feedback information.
This course requires 6 case studies which are as follows:
Encapsulating chunky glitter including clear base and clear capping
Ombre including clear base and clear capping
Marble - either method (not both) including clear base and clear capping
Reverse French including clear base and clear capping
3D Flower
Prepping for re-design (but not the actual re-design)
These can be carried out on yourself, friends or relatives, a practice hand, swatch sticks or a combination of any of them. You will need to provide evidence of your work as follows:
VIDEO EVIDENCE of the above case studies - Please do a separate video for each of the above but only do one finger (or swatch). This will make it quicker and easier for you to upload the videos. Please don't stress about video quality. If you can see what you're doing in the video I'm sure we will be able to.
The videos can be uploaded on your course page in your online account.
