AKA

There are many products used in the nail industry that go under different names even though they do exactly the same thing. So here are the top 5 most commonly used products that have alternative names.

  1. Isopropyl alcohol AKA Fresh Prep (CJP Nails), Swipe (Young Nails), Prep and Scrub (Halo) and the list goes on and on for all the different brands out there. Used to clean and dehydrate the nail plate before gel, gel polish, acrylic or BIAB are applied. It's also used for taking off the sticky layer left on the nail after curing gel products.
